About Miss Stephanie
Stephanie Burton was born to teach
Kindermusik! A highly animated mother
of two with operatic vocal training and a
knack for working with children, "Miss"
Stephanie began singing and performing
in sixth grade. She went on to major in
Vocal Performance at Rice University's
prestigious Shepherd School of Music,
where she received her Bachelor of
Music degree in 1997.
After several years in the business world, Stephanie
returned to her first love - music - and ran her own
highly successful piano studio for over five years. The
proud mother of two very musical girls, Stephanie has
been an avid participant in and enthusiastic promoter of
Kindermusik with Miss Lindsay & Friends for the past
three years. She is pleased to join our program as a
fully-qualified, fully Licensed Kindermusik Educator.
A Pillar of the Community
Stephanie is one of the founding members and
organizers of the Diablo Valley Parents Group, a
playgroup and support group for parents of young
children in the Diablo Valley. Her responsibilities have
included facilitating "Mommy Meals" (Meals on Wheels
for mothers in the group who have just had babies), co-
organizing holiday events, baby showers, and book
group meetings, and volunteering for co-op babysitting
duties.
Stephanie also celebrates her love of music through her
faith. On Sundays, she can be found singing with the
worship team at Oasis Christian Fellowship.
